Technical Production Manager - Very Flexible Role - 1 x day a week or month in West London...
Our client is looking for an experienced Technical Production Manager to join their growing team, delivering high-profile events and exhibitions across the globe.
You'll be working on projects in the US, Bangkok and Budapest, managing speaker sessions, breakout programmes, stakeholder communications, timelines and onsite delivery. International travel to events is an essential part of the role.
You'll either lead the technical production delivery of your own projects or work alongside a wider project team on larger, more complex programmes. From interpreting the brief and building production plans through to onsite delivery, you'll be responsible for ensuring every technical element is delivered to the highest standard.
The role will see you:
- Lead technical production across live events and exhibitions
- Develop production schedules and manage technical Heads of Department
- Oversee onsite delivery, including build, live event and breakdown
- Manage suppliers, crew and technical partners
- Work closely with producers, creatives and designers to bring concepts to life
- Manage budgets, procurement and supplier negotiations
- Carry out site visits and client meetings
- Contribute to pitches and proposals
- Ensure all health & safety and compliance standards are met
We're looking for someone with:
- Proven technical production experience across live events, conferences and exhibitions
- Strong knowledge of AV, staging, scenic and technical build
- Excellent supplier and crew management skills
- Commercial awareness and budget management experience
- Confidence working in a fast-paced agency environment
- AutoCAD and strong Microsoft Office skills
- The flexibility and enthusiasm to travel internationally throughout the year
