About the Role

Our client is seeking a commercially driven Account Manager to join their Sponsorship Sales team. This role is responsible for driving sponsorship revenue across a portfolio of live events, digital campaigns, and content-led opportunities.

The successful candidate will build strategic relationships with sponsors, understand their business objectives, and develop tailored partnership solutions that deliver measurable value. Working closely with clients, event teams, and internal stakeholders, they will play a key role in creating exceptional sponsor experiences and long-term commercial partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve and exceed individual sales and revenue targets.
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of sponsor accounts.
  • Develop strong relationships with sponsors to understand their business and marketing objectives.
  • Create and present sponsorship proposals, packages, and sales presentations.
  • Identify and secure cross-sell and upsell opportunities across multiple products and services.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and CRM records.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop innovative sponsorship opportunities.
  • Champion the sponsor perspective throughout event planning and delivery.
  • Deliver a seamless and professional experience for sponsors throughout the sales cycle.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in sponsorship sales, partnership sales, event sales, or a similar commercial role.
  • Demonstrated success in generating, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities.
  • Strong account management and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience managing sales pipelines, forecasting, and CRM systems.
  • Strong commercial awareness and business acumen.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Hybrid or remote working arrangements are available, with occasional travel required for client meetings, team collaboration, and event delivery. International travel may also be required.
