Senior Account Director - Mat Cover

London | Hybrid (3 days in office) | 9-month contract with potential to extend

We're looking for an experienced Account Director to lead relationships with global brands, drive commercial success, and help deliver exceptional experiential and integrated marketing campaigns.

This is a hands-on client leadership role where you'll act as a trusted strategic partner, owning key accounts from brief through to delivery. You'll work closely with strategy, creative, and production teams to ensure projects are commercially successful, creatively ambitious, and flawlessly executed.

Main focus of the role

  • Leading senior client relationships and becoming a trusted strategic advisor
  • Growing and developing existing accounts through proactive recommendations
  • Owning commercial performance, forecasting, and project profitability
  • Guiding and mentoring Account Managers and junior team members
  • Translating client objectives into clear, actionable briefs
  • Ensuring smooth collaboration between clients and delivery teams
  • Identifying opportunities for organic growth and long-term partnerships

Skills & Experience 

  • Significant experience in account leadership within events, experiential, integrated marketing, or agency environments
  • Strong commercial and financial management skills
  • Proven ability to grow and retain client accounts
  • Excellent stakeholder management and presentation skills
  • Experience working with large or global brands
  • A collaborative leader who can inspire teams and build trust with clients
