THE ROLE

As the business continues on a trajectory of global growth, it is seeking a driven, dynamic individual with a proven ability to build strong relationships and identify commercial opportunities. This client-facing role will play a central part in supporting the company’s new business strategy, working across existing accounts and targeting new prospects.

The position is part of the client development team and involves close collaboration with company leadership and senior stakeholders.

The individual in this role will be responsible for driving growth, cultivating valuable relationships, and securing new opportunities that support the company's broader ambitions. While they will maintain visibility across current clients, their main focus will be identifying, pursuing, and converting new business leads through proactive outreach, inbound enquiries, and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading growth efforts: Owns and manages the new business pipeline from initial outreach to pitch and conversion. Champions outreach strategies, responds to briefs, and leads pitch processes that align the company’s strengths with market demand.

  • Opportunity development: Works with leadership to nurture relationships with prospects, industry connectors, and brand decision-makers. Identifies emerging trends and opportunities across brand experience, content, culture, and communications.

  • Proposal development: Leads the creation of compelling proposals, RFIs, credentials decks, and pitch presentations. Collaborates with creative and strategy teams to shape persuasive responses that win business.

  • External representation: Acts as a confident and credible representative of the business at meetings, events, and industry gatherings. Builds trust and maintains a strong network.

  • Commercial growth: Aims to exceed revenue targets for new business. Partners with senior leaders to forecast accurately, refine commercial strategy, and strengthen the company’s go-to-market approach.

  • Visibility building: Helps turn successful projects into case studies, PR stories, award entries, and thought leadership content that enhance the company’s reputation and attract further opportunities.

  • Cross-functional collaboration: Works closely with teams across creative, production, strategy, and leadership to ensure new opportunities align with internal capabilities and ambitions.

  • Cultural contribution: Plays an active role in shaping the internal culture—contributing to innovation and fostering a collaborative, high-performing environment.


ABOUT THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Has 5+ years’ experience in a client-facing role within a creative environment, with a strong focus on business development and growth.

  • Demonstrates a track record of identifying, pursuing, and converting new opportunities from lead generation through to successful pitch and onboarding.

  • Thinks strategically and gets to the core of challenges and opportunities quickly, building clear strategies to win.

  • Has experience leading or contributing to strategic pitch processes, including RFI/RFP responses, credentials development, and proposal writing.

  • Brings strong commercial awareness, ensuring value is both delivered and received.

  • Builds and maintains senior-level client and prospect relationships, with a keen eye for new business potential.

  • Understands the creative and marketing landscape, including brand experience, live events, content, and communications.

  • Communicates clearly and listens actively; confident and persuasive when presenting ideas and telling compelling stories.

  • Thrives in collaborative environments, working effectively with multidisciplinary teams including strategy, creative, production, and leadership.

  • Is a self-starter—resilient, ambitious, and motivated by growth and business impact.
