The Agency
Fantastic agency with an enviable and varied client base. Extremely high standards of work and an awesome team!
The Role
· Accountability for setting H&S policy including regular reviews ensuring all documentation is up to date to reflect any changes in law or best practice.
· Create and develop Event Safety Management Plan documentation for all site work to link in with broader risk management systems and processes.
· Co-chair our internal H&S committee, where all areas of the business are represented and encouraged to help shape policy and process.
· Create quarterly reports for the Board on H&S statistics to identify trends in the agency's ways of working that may require investment or a different approach.
· Own/present an H&S element of agency meetings to promote the relevance and importance of the subject and to engrain it into each part of the agency with guidance from the board.
· Formulate, in conjunction with Heads of Department, a program of training and certification for all personnel to exceed legislative requirements and enable team career progression.
· Work with project teams in pitch and live phases of projects to ensure that H&S risks are kept to a bare minimum at each stage of the process. Ideally this will require the H&S Manager to attend live pitches and production meetings with clients.
· Attend site as H&S Advisor, where appropriate, to conduct inductions, inspections and other on-site duties as the project requires.
· Liaise and coordinate 3rd party supplier and venue documentation prior to attending site and addressing any on-site issues as they may arise.
· Develop a team of freelance H&S Advisors who are able to provide a consistent service to the agency and its clients when the H&S Manager requires support or is unable to attend site due to other commitments.
· Work with Office and Warehouse teams to develop and review existing documentation and when required, create new policies
· Supervise/engage with suppliers to ensure they work in the safest way as part of our ongoing supplier compliance and procurement process.
