  • This award-winning agency specialising in immersive experiences are looking for a Sales and Event Lead to manage group bookings for their virtual entertainment experiences.
  • Looking for a confident self-starter who loves getting stuck in, learns quickly and has drive and ambition.

  • You will be responsible for hitting monthly sales targets and responding to all our group booking queries.
  • You will help our customers to tailor their group bookings to work for their requirements over the phone and on e-mail.
  • Working closely with the box office manager and our producers, you’ll supply estimates for the group bookings, manage all communication with all our enquirers, drive the sale, then process the group’s orders, plus ensure that on the day, they’re happy and their booking goes smoothly.
  • You’ll take pride in ensuring a high level of customer service and efficiency are delivered at all times.

● Be the point of contact and face for all corporate and team booking interactions.

● Hit monthly sales targets.

● Seek to increase sales by effectively managing our corporate and groups ticketing inventory and driving communications with all inbound leads.

● Manage the full sales journey.

● Record all sales and lead data through CRM tool, Hubspot.

● Respond to customer enquiries with a phone call within 3 hours of receiving them.

● Through clear communication with customers, help them to shape a virtual event booking that is bespoke to their business.

● Processing orders and troubleshooting issues will happen via a variety of communication channels including via phone, email, social media, video conferencing.

● Troubleshoot issues and different demands for tailored elements via a variety of communication channels (phone, email, social media and video conferencing).

● Coordinate any required digital marketing to group bookings, in collaboration with the marketing team.

● Set-up and maintain weekly reporting on sales and lead data to report into the Marketing Director.

● Champion the way we collect customer data through all sales channels to ensure cleanliness, accuracy and consistency, as well as compliance with GDPR.

● Offer a stand-out level of customer service.

● Pro-actively suggest new ideas for outbound lead generation, and how to improve any inbound.

● Stay up to date on all Swamp Motel’s latest creative commissions and experiences to be able to upsell services to any inbound leads.

Required experience:

● Experience in account management, business development or sales for a consumer brand, entertainment brand, theatre, entertainment venue, hospitality, events company or ticketing company. Or equivalent experience from an agency.

● A demonstrable background in marketing or sales. Ideally events and/or tickets.

● Exposure working with corporate clients, able to negotiate and independently build relationships.

● Outstanding presentation skills and ability to articulate creative content ideas with flair.

Desirable experience:

● Track record of independently developing and launching new propositions.

● Understanding of the brand experience, live and virtual events landscape.

● Understanding of event production.

● High level of self-motivation, discretion, diligence and attention to detail.

● Selling group tickets for virtual events to corporate clients.
