Reporting to: Technical Director

Ideally based in or near Norwich

We are a Production, Product & Innovation Studio that provides services to businesses within a collective of Creative Marketing Agencies across UK, Europe, North America and South East Asia. Our main capabilities are Digital Strategy, Design, Development and Video, supported by our Production and Project Management team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS

  • Be a key member of our Production Management function helping to ensure efficient and commercially robust operations, ways of working and delivery of projects
  • Build great relationships with our Agencies, being the of contact for active projects and keeping them up to date with the status of all their work
  • Receive enquiries and new briefs from Agencies, engaging with relevant colleagues to ensure they are processed in a suitable and timely manner
  • Ensure Agencies follow the correct processes and ways of working 
  • Manage jobs through the entire process, responsible for creating proposals, scopes, estimates and timing plans with support from relevant colleagues
  • Work with the Production Manager to help them schedule and traffic work for Design, Development and Motion teams
  • Support the Technical Director and Production Manager to ensure all upcoming work is accurately logged, recorded and aligned to the correct resource
  • Attend weekly production meetings, providing updates on all of your current projects and resource requirements
  • Provide early identification of any upcoming challenges for the delivery of work. Be alert to all types of risks across resourcing, scope creep/change, quality control, 3rdparty relationships, project dependencies and broader commercial considerations. Work with relevant colleagues to find solutions and mitigate any negative impact
  • Have a detailed understanding of our core scheduling, project and information systems (JIRA, Confluence, Service Desk, easl) ensuring accurate reporting and efficient operations
  • Brief work into external freelancers, contractors, partners and other colleagues for work that can’t be delivered by internal staff
  • Have a detailed understanding of all internal systems and processes. Proactively make recommendations for how they can be improved
  • Where relevant, assist with the on-boarding of other Agencies to ensure they understand how to work with us

 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Experience of working in an Agency/marketing team environment with a good understanding of all processes required to run a service-based business
  • Demonstrable experience of managing projects in an Agency or marketing function
  • Highly organised and comfortable with managing multiple tasks and a long list of daily responsibilities
  • A problem-solving mindset
  • Experience of working with project management, resourcing and reporting software
  • Ability to build productive and respectful relationships with all colleagues internally and the Agencies, across all disciplines and seniority
  • An ability to see the ‘bigger picture’ when it comes to defining and improving processes
  • Great communication skills; written, verbal, presentation
  • Very strong commercial awareness and acumen

 

MEASURES OF SUCCESS

  • Successful delivery of key priorities and objectives agreed as part of the development review and Room to Grow programme
  • Meeting – and ideally exceeding – a chargeability expectation of 85% of time
  • Growth in the types and scale of digital work for Agencies; for both existing and new Clients
  • Agency satisfaction with the service provided by us. Measured using surveys and feedback collected from all stakeholders
