About the role
We are looking for an experienced Project Director to join our small, close-knit team in Brighton. Focusing on project planning and production management, you will be responsible for liaising directly with our clients across the globe as well as overseeing delivery for a wide range of events and experiences. Working with a highly creative team, you will help deliver for diverse and interesting clients and have flexibility to develop the role. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact in a small team and bring your experience to help the agency grow and evolve whilst enjoying life by the coast in Brighton.

Responsibilities include:

  • Taking a leadership role in the planning and delivery of event work
  • Producing proposals and pitch documents
  • Taking the brief and creating event timelines and schedules
  • Briefing creative, design and production teams
  • Management responsibility for project teams
  • Continuously re-assessing the project to ensure the aims are met
  • Central point of contact for main client and key stakeholders
  • Overseeing all internal delivery, at every stage, including event logistics
  • Managing external suppliers
  • Preparing, managing and reconciling large scale budgets

About you
You will bring event / production agency experience and ideally line management capabilities to this role. With a proven background of managing and delivering large events (expos, conferences, product launches etc.), you will be adept at managing client contact throughout. Comfortable with new technology and digital platforms, it is desirable that you have experience in virtual events.

Able to network with existing and new clients effectively, you develop strong relationships quickly. Your communication skills and exceptional attention to detail enable you to deliver effectively.

 

The salary is £45,000 - £50,000.

 

This role is full time, with regular travel to our office in Brighton. Flexible office and remote working available. Overseas travel may be required, subject to Covid-19 guidelines.
