Are you curious about the what and the why of events and is content king for you?

The Agency

I know we keep saying it, but another events agency with a fantastic culture. Every person we speak to within this business has great things to say, not only about the leadership team, but about the other people who work in it!  We can also vouch for the person this role reports into, who is fantastic.

The Role

A brand-new role in the content team which has come about due to new client wins and continued agency growth.

Producers answer the ‘what’ and the ‘why’ of our projects, working with our clients in collaboration with our Project Managers to understand their objectives, shape content and ensure a legacy for their event. Producers understand the technicalities of event delivery, but they’re more focussed on crafting an excellent experience, and gathering the data to prove they’ve done so. A creative thinker, the Producer is an expert at listening to our external clients and internal teams and communicating their vision in return.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the content development aspect of projects to shape the solution, execution, and delivery to align with the client’s objectives.
  • Working with the Production team to propose appropriate technical delivery methods for client needs, from virtual events and live streams to hybrid and traditional events.
  • Bring together the appropriate teams both internal and freelance to facilitate conversations to identify the best and most creative ways to execute on our client’s objectives.
  • Create clear and concise creative briefs that reflect the clients’ objectives and aims for designers, video editors, production and technical teams.
  • Work alongside the Project Manager to ensure the smooth delivery of projects.
  • Own the data-reporting of our events, liaising with the right teams to ensure data are generated, before analysing and presenting it back to our clients

Key Attributes

  • Relationship building, empathy and communication – Producers need to be the person a client wants to turn to for their project, they need to listen in meetings to get to the core of the client’s problems and effectively communicate their solution to all teams
  • Passionate and innovative thinker – Producers are passionate about engaging audiences, thinking outside the box and coming up with creative solutions to ensure the highest standard of delivery.
  • Problem solver and content expert – After understanding our client’s objectives, Producers build agendas and event design from scratch, liaising with our internal teams and support networks to ensure it is of the highest quality
  • Technical Comfort – Whether in understanding the possibilities of a virtual platform, or getting arms-deep in data, Producers are comfortable asking questions and gathering information to help guide technical delivery.

Desirable Skills/Experience

  • Experience of end-to-end delivery of events (physical and/or virtual) with a content first approach.
  • Hands-on experience with Designers, Editors and Creatives. Producers can translate client thinking and their own creative ideas into briefs for the myriad of technical teams that compose a project.
  • Audience Engagement Platforms such as Sli.do, Mentimeter, and others. Producers know the advantages and disadvantages of a number of these platforms and can advise which system suits a given scenario.
  • Proven experience and understanding of the event design process from initial brief and solution to debrief and evaluation.
  • Speaker support to guide them on developing their session and working with tools such as sl.ido, presentation decks and Q&A sessions,
  • Comfortable directing technical teams in both studios and behind the physical production desk at live events to deliver high quality productions.
  • Digital breakouts and speaker bridging. Producers know their Zoom from their Google Hangouts and can make effective decisions on which solution to use for a given client.
  • Experience in developing and managing event run of show documents to ensure assets are sourced, filed and distributed correctly.
