Reporting to the Exec Team, you will take a holistic and strategic view of this company's offerings, positioning them globally at the forefront of corporate equality.

This will be an exciting and high profile role with significant responsibility, and an opportunity to shape our future direction whilst making a positive difference globally. You will have regular interactions with the hugely inspirational Founder  as well as the CEO.

You should have a successful track record of driving positive change through setting marketing strategy, building teams, driving results to meet business KPIs, developing brand and reputation, digital, systems, infrastructure, reporting, campaigns, events, online communities, and providing clear ROI in all your activities.


● Define a marketing strategy to ensure we are seen as the preeminent organisation globally that drives equality at the top of the world’s largest companies

● Build a team to execute that strategy (recruit, develop, manage)

● Ensure a consistent brand in all our services and offerings

● Oversee the implementation of the marketing strategy

● Set and administer an annual marketing budget

● Working with the Awards, Events, Membership and Consulting teams, provide best in class marketing support, alongside thought leadership contributions

● Guide the day-to-day activities of the marketing team

● Continually review changes to the market, consumer trends and the activities of competitors, adjusting the marketing plan if necessary

● Provide tools and materials to enable the sales team to function effectively

● Manage and refine the organisation’s website, social media presence, CEO Unfiltered podcasts and the Magazine

● Oversee all PR, communications, content, podcasts, books, articles, white papers, newsletters

● Manage and measure marketing campaign costs

● Report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns using predetermined KPIs

● Utilise data for marketing campaigns, interrogating the organisation’s databases and external data

● Identify new business opportunities

● Conduct market research studies

● Negotiate with media agencies and secure agreements on the production of promotional materials.


Key skills

● Proven in setting strategy within both a B2B and B2C context, marketing services to senior leaders and corporations

● Strong project management and people management: You will join at ground zero and help recruit and build a marketing department and guide its day-to-day operations. You will recruit, supervise and mentor members of the marketing team.

● Leadership and influencing: The role of a marketing director is a creative one, so it’s crucial that you present yourself as a good communicator. You will report directly to the chief executive and portray your vision and ideas to the executive team. You will also be leading and directing the work of others. Being head of marketing also involves constant networking and representing your organisation to outsiders.

● Upholding the highest standards: building relationships with and communicating to globally listed organisations requires the highest levels of attention to detail and communicating in a way that aligns with our mission.

● Data analysis: The role calls for continual analysis of market trends and the positioning of competitors. This analysis provides the foundation for marketing strategies. Much of this analysis is done by drilling down into data around customer behaviour and experiences, so you need to be up to speed on these techniques.
