We are looking for a Business Development Director to join their ambitious team.
The role requires a self-starter who is able to bring in business and engage with new contacts to spark meaningful conversations and bring in RFP's. The agency has a plethora of successful event creds to back up these initial conversations. The aim will be to make contact with senior level c-suite clients in order to understand their problems and present a solution in the live or virtual space.
The person must be someone with a track record of working with an events agency to deliver results and drive revenue through an agency.

Own and deliver on the Sales plan and agreed new business targets

Manage the sales plan and demonstrate proactive approach to targeting sectors and prospects. Report any updates to this on a regular basis (frequency TBD)

Build sufficient intelligence about a prospect to support the sales effort

Keep up to date with the latest competitor intelligence and targeted industry and client insights to inform the sales strategy

Initiate and build relationships with identified prospects and lead them through the Sales funnel to qualified opportunity stage
