Work Environment

Whilst we value working alone, we are a collaborative, predominantly face-to-face organisation and pride ourselves on working together to bounce ideas and support our clients. We have a fantastic, creatively designed space which promotes teamwork at our office in London and expect our employees to be in the oce at least 60% of the time. This is why we have introduced our 3:2 working model which requires all employees to be in the oce Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays.

 

Job Purpose

As Account Manager you will be responsible for supporting the client team and account team by proactively managing key event marketing processes. The objective of this position is to provide proactive management of the event marketing process and drive overall program effectiveness.

Management of the event marketing financial process will enable client teams to effectively track event investments and quarterly spend and enable market adjustments as required. Forecasts and monitoring enable more effective reporting, measurement and portfolio planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be the client’s principal point of contact within the agency, albeit they will always be supported at a senior level by either an Account Director or Senior Account Director
  • Write and successfully fulfil growth plans in conjunction with Account Director/Senior Account Director
  • Responsible for the profitability of each project within your account with the support and supervision of the relevant Account Director or Senior Account Director.

Account Management

  • Lead new and develop accounts; be responsible and accountable for overall budgets as agreed in annual account planning process with support from Account Director/Senior Account Director
  • Monitor process, progress, and results to ensure successful delivery of project
  • Write creative concept briefs alongside Strategy and /or SAD
  • Compile budgets with Integrated Production and track to project end, including client reporting and reconciliation process in line with agency standards; through regular tracking of all departments pre-agreed budgets/head hours and costs by project
  • Manage the project teams to deliver successful projects and events

  • Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously and support several internal resources
  • Excellent client relationship management skills
  • Budget management experience
  • Knowledge of the role of events and brand experiences in a broader business context to aid the development of relationships with clients from supplier to business partner
