Reporting to: Senior Account Manager

Location: London or Hertfordshire

Salary: £25,000

 

The Role The Account Executive role is focused upon supporting the team in delivering brilliant client services, establishing client relationships, and developing a strategic mindset for growth and innovation.

They will play an integral role in the departments operational success, as well as working with the team to implement new processes, lead on insights gathering, and best in class account management for our clients. Day to day will be an exciting mix of event delivery, supporting on pitch development and delivery, as well as research and account handling.

This entry level position is ideal for a graduate, or candidate with a year or two experience within the events industriy. They will be passionate about people, experiences and innovation, with an enquiring mind and a keen desire to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting the Client Experience team with department operations, delivery support and account development

Developing and maintaining ongoing account and sector insights, through in depth research and sharing them with wider teams to support relevant proposals and solutions

Supporting Acct Leads through this research and insight led reporting to build strategic account plans

Understanding our clients in detail, and being an ambassador within the agency for their brand behaviours, guidelines, and strategy

Where required, taking ownership of elements within agreed Tier 2 & 3 accounts, to forge relationships and uncover new opportunities

Pitching and proposals: working within teams to support on pitching fresh and innovative ideas to clients through research, elements of proposal writing and team co-ordination

On key projects, providing day to day support for the CX and delivery teams around project delivery, internal team integration and alignment. Communication and liaison as required with clients at a mid to junior level

Ongoing account management: Drafting briefing documents, meeting agendas, taking comprehensive meeting notes, and drafting action plans to support the team to deliver on client requirements

Work with the Client Experience team to ensure measurement and reporting is integral to campaigns where appropriate, and take ownership of generating accurate reports and analysis

Update client data on our CRM – Salesforce

Contributing towards achieving and maintaining NPS scores of 9-10 on named clients

Where required, take lead on developing and owning department initiatives to support better client experience throughout the business.

Other Responsibilities

  • Act as an interface to the Client Experience team to report on their named accounts on a regular basis
  • Attend the live events and projects within the named accounts
  • Ensure that every show and or live experience on named accounts delivers to our Gold standard
  • Attend, update and proactively participate in team meetings
  • Follow the guidelines of all company policies, both at HQ and on-site, paying particular attention to Health & Safety
  • Actively participate in our sustainability initiatives and observe the policies and procedures which underpin our ISO20121 certification.

 

Requirements:

  • Graduate level, or 1-2 years previous experience in events and marketing with the ability to develop trust and inspire loyalty with people at all levels
  • An interest in people, and a will to forge strong relationships using skills that can be developed to a strategic level. A team player mentality is essential
  • Results oriented, with an interest in business development
  • Proven interest in the live activations, marketing and creative industries, and a passion for creative innovation
  • Good communication skills, written and verbal
  • Developing presentation skills
  • Good planning, organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Resilient under pressure with the ability to maintain high level of accuracy & adhere to high standards of quality when working to tight deadlines
  • Interest in or experience of managing budgets
  • Proficient and experienced user of Microsoft Office suite is essential, particularly Outlook & Excel. Keynote is desirable
